Rear View Window - Caterina
Caterina is from Sicily and has lived in Hong Kong, China for 5 years. In Hong Kong they’ve lived in isolation since the beginning of February. She is able to work from home and lives with her partner Filippos and her two sons Paolo and Andrea. Caterina also spent 3 days in an official quarantine hotel, as she had a friend who was diagnosed with Covid 19. She was able to leave and go home to self isolate again after not showing symptoms. Caterina likes the fact that they are now spending more time talking to friends and family on online chatting apps.
We may now find ourselves more isolated than ever, but as a world we are maybe more together than we ever have been. We are now all fighting the same battle and have the same goal. Covid 19 is taking lives and most of us find ourselves in isolation to protect us and others around us. This series of images is aimed at showing the people in isolation around the world. I wanted a view into how people are coping and how people live. Thank you to all whom have taken part.
