Chef Andy Oliver, General Manager Tom George and Chef Mark Dobbie are the team behind Som Saa. Som Saa is another new Thai restaurant that has opened in London and its permanent residence was a huge success from day one. I turned up to shoot the team behind the restaurant and met a very run down trio. They had run very successful pop up restaurants before, but crowd funding allowed them to open their new venture, a permanent residence in Shoreditch. They had been going non stop for days to open the place and there was still not an end in sight. On the boarder of Shoreditch the trendy new place takes no bookings and its success means that it has hour long queues every night. I am still not sure the guys have had a chance to sit down and take count.
