Rob Brydon

There are no people as nice as the Welsh, (apart from the guys that cruise past me on a Saturday night when in Cardiff, window down, screaming “You F•••ing HIPPY!!!”). Rob is not quite the type to yell abuse whilst driving 30 miles an hour – but more the type that would stop the car to complement you on your long hair instead. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the modest and complimentary Rob Brydon four times now. He always turns up on time and he’s always polite. Of course, the subtle but unmistakable humour that Rob Brydon is known for is always present.
Rob turned up after having spent his morning doing a voice over for a Beaver. The shoot location was Hix’ restaurant in Soho, London filled with great art and props. I took Rob on a journey through ‘hard as fuck’ backdrops to contradict his kind nature, from restaurant dining without any food, to the decks without records so he could spin some tunes, and eventually we ended up at the bar to share a drink with a Fox that didn’t drink.
That’s a rap!!!
