Hobbies of chefs

This feature was all about chefs’ hobbies. I got the chance to meet up with Sabrina Ghayour and Darina Allen again who have a healthy passion for cook books and fermentation. And I had the pleasure of seeing Raymond Blanc’s perfectly pruned apple orchard, meeting the wackily and visually impressive gastronomic duo Bompass and Parr and their menu collection, and get some tips from Thomasina Miers on how to make a good marmalade. It was interesting to see, from the traditional to new, and how the chef and what they do, reflect in any hobbies they may have.
