Good Bye Real Britannia

It is with great sadness that I announce that the series of Real Britannia has now come to an end. I had the pleasure of completing 19 shoots, depicting a select group of professions around the UK that are uniquely British.
These regular shoots have been both inspirational and challenging. A very big thank you to Jon and Clio at the Sunday Times Magazine for their confidence, help and support in me completing these shots. From sunny days at the Horse Guard Parade avoiding a steady stream of tourists, to a cold ,windy and heavy rain in a pool in Cornwall, to hanging out of a window in a bar in Islington – they have all come with different challenges but the people photographed and my crew have all helped to achieve a consistent feel that I think represents each of the professions that have taken part.
This is the last published image from the series and was taken at The Cleggan Shoot, one of the best sporting shoots in Northern Ireland. Have a look at the “Groups” gallery on this site to see more from this series.
